Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced at a press conference with The Doings that Hinsdale will host the first National Wii Paddle Tourney on October 12-14 weekend.Bill O'Brien, HPTA President, reported that he is "absolutely delighted at the prospect of bringing a new generation of athletes to Wii Paddle". Mr. O'Brien sees a natural fit between television and Wii Paddle, something that his other favorite sport of paddle just never made work.
