Fundraising Reaches 66%

Donations have been flowing into Bob Kotula's office for about 3 weeks. We're very pleased to announce that 56 (or 66%) of the 85 pledges have already been received by the Village. These 66% of pledges account for 65% of the cash contributions pledged to the project.

The official due date for donation is July 1. The drop dead date to receive all donations is July 20, the day we'll provide an update to the Village Board about the fundraising effort. We'll start the task of following-up with the 29 unpaid pledges after the 1st of July.

And a public notice went out in the Village newsletter to invite residents to contribute and earn a lifetime membership:
