More than a dozen HPD players entered last weekend's series tournaments and many of the teams turned in impressive results:Series 4-6:
Luke Figora and Kevin Parks fought a great battle in the semi-finals of the consolation bracket, losing 7-6, 7-6.
Chuck Herbst and Ted Shepherd made it into the semi-finals of the last-chance.
Series 7-9:
Unseeded Marty Brennan and John Hawn won the consolation bracket in three sets.
Number 5 seeds Mike Gartlan and Todd Marquardt lost to the #4 seeds in the championship bracket.
Series 10-12:
Mark Bratt and Tyler Quast won the consolation bracket in straight sets. Their only loss was to the eventual winner of the tournament.
